Nora Legrand
With roots stretching from France and to the Appalachias, French-Norwegian singer/songwriter Nora Legrand grew up in a small town on the west coast of Norway, hidden between the tallest mountain tops. When she was 13 she got her first guitar, and spent her time writing songs and listening to country music. Now, Nora Legrand has captivated audiences with her debut album, "Paper Sky". This collection reflects the "magical chaos of the 20s," weaving through themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. Having spent parts of her 20s in Tennessee immersing herself in songwriting, Legrand’s lyrics offer a raw, heartfelt narrative inspired by artists like Taylor Swift and Brandi Carlile. Combining roots-rock, americana, and storytelling, Legrand’s versatile sound promises to enchant and resonate deeply with listeners, making "Paper Sky" a remarkable debut.
Nora Legrand was nominated for the prestigious Spellemann 2024 Music award in the country genre, and has made an impression across Norwegian televisions during her performances on The Voice Norway in 2025. She was also nominated for Album of the Year in the Norwegian Americana Forum’s “Fjording Award”, and Newcomer of the Year - which she won. Her radio hit “Wherever She’s Running” was A-listed more than 24 weeks on NRK P1, where they proclaimed her to be Norway’s very own “Country Comet”. She topped an incredible 2025 off with more than 30 concerts during the summer and fall.
