Nora Legrand
With roots stretching from France and to the Appalachians, French-Norwegian singer/songwriter Nora Legrand is set to captivate audiences with her debut album, "Paper Sky." This collection reflects the "magical chaos of the 20s," weaving through themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. Having spent parts of her 20s in Tennessee immersing herself in songwriting, Legrand’s lyrics offer a raw, heartfelt narrative inspired by artists like Taylor Swift and Brandi Carlile. Combining roots-rock, outlaw country, and nordicana, Legrand’s versatile sound promises to enchant and resonate deeply with listeners, making "Paper Sky" a remarkable debut.
Nora Legrand released her first EP, Devotion in 2020, to excellent reviews in newspapers and blogs. Nora has been since then frequently featured on radio in Norway, USA, Canada and the UK.
She grew up in a small town on the west coast of Norway, hidden between high mountain tops. When she was 13 she got her first guitar, and spent the days writing songs and listening to country music. Nora is now based in Oslo, Norway, and travels frequently to Tennessee, where she used to live, for new inspiration.
